System Administrator
Position Description
CGI Federal is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented
professional to support a large federal client in a SharePoint
Online implementation and maintenance project. The Systems
Administrator (Senior) will manage and maintain the SharePoint
Online environments for a Federal Government customer, ensuring
compliance with security policies and providing ongoing support and
maintenance.
This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; however, a
hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Configure and maintain SharePoint Online environments.
Implement security measures in accordance with NIST guidelines.
Perform regular system administration tasks, including backups and
restores.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SharePoint
Online.
Develop and maintain system documentation and operational
procedures.
Assist in migrating existing SharePoint sites to SharePoint
Online.
Provide technical support and training to staff within the
agency.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 technologies.
Technical background in administration of Microsoft 365 and
specifically SharePoint Online.
Technical background and understanding of Microsoft Active
Directory.
Strong understanding of NIST security requirements.
Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field. Equivalent years of IT
work experience may be substituted.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:

Knowledge of Drupal is a plus.
Knowledge of Azure is a plus.
Azure or SharePoint certifications preferred.
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a
reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The
determination of this range includes various factors not limited to
skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and
certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based
performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the
top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are
dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable
estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is
$76,300.00 - $185,800.00.
