• Certification Details
• BLS & ACLS are the only required certifications.
• Drives license must be outside 50 miles from the facility.
  • Job Details
  • Stepdown nursing position available.
  • The unit is the 2nd floor Stepdown unit with 20 private room beds.
  • Travelers can only submit to 1 position at a time across the entire WVU system.
  • COVID-19 vaccination required with potential for medical or religious exemption.
    • Job Requirements
    • ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA) certifications are required.
    • Must include an unexpired copy of candidate's driver's license with submission.
    • Previous permanent candidates must not have worked there in the last 2 years.
    • First time travelers are acceptable.
      • Schedule Information
      • Contract length is 13 weeks.
      • Shift ratios are 1:5 for both Day & Night shift.
      • Every other weekend work is required.
      • Night shifts are Friday/Saturday; Day shifts Saturday/Sunday.
      • Holidays may be required based on unit needs.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit specifics include working with ativan & insulin drips.
        • The unit accommodates PCU/Stepdown patients.
        • Common diagnoses include elevated troponin, pre/post cardiac catheterization, and occasional post-surgical cases.
          • Additional Details
          • Cannot submit more than two candidates per opening.
          • If the position is at max capacity, submissions will be held until an opening is available.
          • Travel teams must be submitted together in one email.
