Commercial interior/renovation projects. Still family-owned and

work comes from repeat clients and occurs in highly sensitive,
occupied environments. They are currently looking to hire a Project
Engineer. DescriptionThe Project Engineer - Occupied Healthcare
Projects - MD will be responsible for:
- Project Planning: Collaborate with project managers to develop
project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Technical Support: Provide engineering support throughout the
project lifecycle, including design reviews and technical
documentation.
- Coordination: Liaise between different teams (design,
procurement, and construction) to ensure smooth communication and
collaboration.
- Quality Control: Monitor construction activities to ensure
compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues that
arise during construction.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate project
documentation, including reports, meeting minutes, and change
orders.
- Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress
and address any on-site challenges.
- Risk Management: Assess potential risks and develop mitigation
strategies to minimize project disruptions.
- Client Interaction: Communicate with clients and stakeholders
to provide project updates and address concerns.ProfileThe Project
Engineer - Occupied Healthcare Projects - MD will have:
- at least 2 years of experience in construction
- a bachelor's degree in construction or a related field
preferred
- occupied healthcare project experience preferred
- excellent communication skills both verbal and written
